We've looked at hundreds of Albanian business websites. The same mistakes keep repeating. The good news: most are fixed within a day.

  1. The phone number isn't tappable. On mobile the number must be a link that starts the call. Same for WhatsApp and email.
  2. It doesn't say what you do in the first 5 seconds. "Welcome to our website" says nothing. "Car rental in Vlora, cars from €25/day" says everything.
  3. Foreign stock photos. People in suits shaking hands. Customers spot them instantly. One real photo of your premises and team is worth more.
  4. The "Under construction" page. Better a simple single page than a promise that isn't kept.
  5. It doesn't work well on mobile. Tiny text, buttons that can't be pressed, menus that won't open. Most of your visitors are on a phone.
  6. No HTTPS. The browser shows "Not secure" next to your address. SSL certificates are free, there's no excuse.
  7. Outdated information. Hours from 2023, old prices, a "News" section last updated three years ago. If you won't keep the blog, remove it.
  8. A contact form that doesn't work. Test it once a month. You'd be surprised how many messages get lost.
  9. No linked Google Business Profile. The site and the Google profile must have the same name, address and phone.
  10. The domain isn't in your name. Check today. If it's registered to "the guy who made the site" and he disappears, you lose your address.

Bonus: no analytics

If you don't know how many visitors you have and where they come from, you can't improve anything. Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics take 10 minutes to set up.
